How it all started?

The beginning of the Lumsden Beach Company may not be what you’d expect.

A decade earlier we found ourselves living and working in the beach town of San Carlos Bay, Mx. We fell in love with the sun, sand and surf. At that moment in time, we knew our lives would be forever changed. We were living our best life.

Fast forward to 2020, the Covid Pandemic has just started and again we knew life was about to change. It was no longer easy or even possible to jump on a plane and have your toes in the sand in a few short hours.

So, we stayed home, looking at our province and realizing what we had on our beautiful island. It wasn’t quite San Carlos Bay, it was a little better, it was Lumsden Beach.

From that point, we knew we had to recreate the life we so loved just a few years back. Lumsden Beach Company would allow others the opportunities to experience their best life in their own backyard.

As a company, we want to create a fun, authentic Newfoundland experience.
